Terms of Service
By booking a service with Integreat Facilities Management Pty Ltd, whether it be telephonically, by email or through the website, it is deemed that the client has read, fully understood and accepted the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Introduction
- These T&Cs govern the provision of cleaning services by the Company to the Client.
- By accepting a quote, the Client agrees to these T&Cs.
- These T&Cs are governed by the laws of South Africa.
2. Quotes and Validity
- Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
- Acceptance of a quote forms a binding agreement.
- The Company may adjust quotes if the scope changes.
3. Scope of Work and Job Specifications
- The scope will be outlined in the quote.
- Changes must be agreed upon in writing.
- The Company may adjust costs if specifications change.
4. Deposits
- 75% deposit is required for construction cleaning; full payment for general and deep cleaning.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless the Company fails to fulfill obligations.
- Work will not commence until the deposit is received.
5. Disclaimers and Liability
- The Company is not liable for damages to valuables left on-site.
- The Client must secure valuables before work begins.
- The Company is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.
- The Company shall not be held liable for any accidental damage to property, including but not limited to broken windows, caused by debris or objects displaced during the performance of gardening services such as lawn mowing or edge trimming. However, the Company undertakes to inspect the lawns, flower beds, and surrounding areas before commencing work to ensure that all obvious objects are identified and removed by the gardener or supervisor. The Client agrees to not hold the Company liable for any claims, costs, or liabilities arising from incidents beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
6. Power, Water, and Resource Availability
- The Client must ensure sufficient resources on-site.
- The Company is not liable for delays due to resource unavailability.
- Additional fees may apply for return visits due to power cuts or water shortages.
7. Hazardous Materials and Additional Charges
- Additional fees apply for hazardous material cleaning.
- The Client must inform the Company of hazardous materials on-site in advance.
8. Payment Terms
- Residential: General and Deep cleans for residential clients require a full payment to confirm the booking.
- Commercial: Pre/Post Occupational and construction cleaning services require full payment to confirm the booking.
In specific instances/projects, a deposit of 75% is optional when agreed upon by both parties.
The balance is due upon completion of services. - Payment must be made via approved methods within a specified time.
- Late payments incur 2% interest.
9. Cancellation and Termination
- Written notice is required for cancellations.
- Deposits are forfeited for cancellations if the company is not notified within 72 Hours (commercial) or 12 Hours (residential).
- The Company may terminate the agreement for non-payment or breach of terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These T&Cs are governed by South African law.
- Disputes will be resolved through mediation or court jurisdiction.
11. Miscellaneous
- The Company reserves the right to amend these T&Cs.
- Amendments will be communicated in writing.
- Invalid provisions do not affect the remaining terms.
12. Safe Access for Working at Heights
- The Client must ensure all safety measures for working at heights are in place.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse work until safety issues are rectified.
- Delays due to inadequate safety may incur additional charges.
- The Client indemnifies the Company against claims arising from safety failures.
13. Training and Management for General and Site-Specific Scenarios
- The Company ensures employee training in safety protocols and site-specific scenarios.
- The Client must provide site-specific risk information and safety measures.
- The Client agrees to collaborate on enforcing safety protocols.
- The Client indemnifies the Company against claims from failure to disclose site risks.
14. Working at Heights Outdoors in Windy or Hazardous Conditions
- Work will not be conducted in unsafe weather conditions.
- Work is suspended if wind speeds exceed 32 km/h.
- The Client is responsible for delays due to weather.
- Additional charges may apply for delays or rescheduling.
- The Company ensures safety gear is in place and may charge for damaged equipment.
- The Client indemnifies the Company against weather-related claims or delays.
